Pay Range: $25-$28/hour
Job Summary
The Utility Pole Inspector will inspect poles to verify measurements and the ability for work to be performed on them.
Primary Responsibilities
- Acquire measurement data in the field on 50-100 poles a day using aerial measuring equipment.
- Clearly communicate in writing, data that was collected from each individual pole, and access & enter data in the permitting systems.
- Partner directly with the permiter & the engineering team to complete pole measurement process.
- Drive to and from project locations in the Twin Cities metro area, as well as Northwestern Wisconsin areas.
- Maintain and clean measurement equipment on a usage basis.
- Partner directly with Xcel and Comcast Coordinators to complete measurement projects.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements
- Continuously maintain a valid driver’s license.
- General knowledge of aerial construction or prior utility pole inspector experience.
- Must complete work independently.
- Self-Motivated, well organized, detail oriented, and willingness/ability to learn.
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Carry 30-40 lbs. frequently.
- Walk up to 5-20 miles per day on various Midwest terrains, such as snow, ice, uneven ground, etc.
Salary : $25 - $28
