Floater – Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Shipping

About Us: We are a manufacturer of aluminum traffic signs, and we are looking for a flexible, motivated Floater to assist across multiple departments, including manufacturing, warehouse operations, and shipping & receiving. Job Responsibilities:As a Floater, you will be cross-trained and assist in various roles based on daily needs, including but not limited to:
Manufacturing & Fabrication:
Operate machinery to cut and treat aluminum for production
Follow safety and quality guidelines in handling materials
Assist in production line support and general shop tasks
Warehouse Operations:
Pick and pack orders for customers
Assist in maintaining organized inventory and workspace
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if necessary)
Shipping & Receiving:
Prepare and process incoming and outgoing shipments
Verify and document incoming materials
Arrange deliveries and assist with customer pickups
Occasionally make deliveries (valid driver's license required)
Skills & Qualifications:Must be adaptable and willing to shift between roles as needed
Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently in a team environment
Good communication, reading comprehension, and problem-solving skills
Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or shipping is a plus but not required
Forklift experience/certification is a bonus (or willingness to learn)
Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods
Driver’s license required for occasional deliveries
Work Schedule:Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Occasional flexibility may be required based on project deadlines
