We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist responsible for sales and accounts receivable accounting activities, cash application, and customer collections for all Universal Stainless locations from our Corporate headquarters in Bridgeville. This position is a key player on our Corporate Accounting team and will also gain other accounting duties as assigned.
Core Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist responsible for sales and accounts receivable accounting activities, cash application, and customer collections for all Universal Stainless locations from our Corporate headquarters in Bridgeville. This position is a key player on our Corporate Accounting team and will also gain other accounting duties as assigned.
Core Responsibilities
- Post daily sales and daily cash
- Reconcile customer accounts and ensure timely collection of invoices
- Answer customer calls and emails daily
- Manage shipment holds and releases in our system if any payments are past due
- Organize credit memo approvals and enter credit memos after proper approvals are done
- Manually enter miscellaneous sales invoices as needed
- Run credit reports for new or existing customers at the request of management
- Perform monthly accounting-close procedures for sales and accounts receivable
- Reconcile trade accounts receivable and related general ledger accounts, and resolve discrepancies
- Distinctly self-motivated and capable of handling multiple tasks
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and confidence in customer interactions
- Experience and proficiency with Excel spreadsheets
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred
- Proven working experience related to accounts receivable preferred
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
