The primary responsibility of the Convenience Center Attendant is to safely, effectively and expeditiously assist customers and transfer materials to vehicles.

Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Convenience Center Attendant is to safely, effectively and expeditiously assist customers and transfer materials to vehicles.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist customers with taking payment and providing directions on dumping.
- Safely and effectively move materials using heavy equipment provided.
- Perform daily pre and post trip inspections of equipment and timely report any areas of concern.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
- Monitor waste for signs of potential safety hazards.
- Observe and comply with all applicable safety regulations, rules, policies and procedures.
- Participate in external, Department and Company-wide trainings to increase skill sets and improve service.
Knowledge of:
- Money handling techniques.
- Heavy equipment operation.
- Federal, state and local job site health and safety rules, regulations and best practices.
- Operate machinery while prioritizing safety.
- Maintain a positive attitude with coworkers, customers and members of the general public.
- Proactively establish trust and credibility with coworkers by maintaining accountability.
- Contribute to the team dynamic by promoting inclusion, support and collaboration amongst coworkers.
- Take initiative, self-manage time and productivity through multitasking.
- Effectively and concisely communicate verbally.
- Previous experience using heavy equipment preferable.
- Previous experience handling money preferable.
- Experience in the resource recovery industry a plus.
