Position Overview: As an appointment setter, you will be inside Home Depot, engaging with customers and letting customers know of a free water test done right at their kitchen sink. No waiting for results for your water test! If you are the type of person who can strike up a conversation with just about anyone, and brush off "no's", this will be a breeze for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage with customers as they enter the store or while walking around the store.
- Engage with the customers in a friendly manner, spreading awareness of free water tests and setting a goal of 4 appointments per day.
- Have brief conversations with customers frequently.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Follow all company protocols and guidelines while canvassing.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with strangers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a retail environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the scheduled hours.
- Previous experience in customer service or sales is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must be 18 or older to apply and be able to pass a background check.
- Must have reliable transportation
Compensation:
- $17 an hour plus commission and bonus if goals achieved.
