Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes. Duties
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Launder and clean clients’ clothing and living spaces as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for side effects.
- Take vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Maintain accurate medical records and document changes in clients’ conditions.
- Assist with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
- Provide specialized care for clients with conditions such as dementia.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home health care or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration and vital signs monitoring.
- CPR certification is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with clients and families.
- Ability to follow care plans accurately while being attentive to client needs.
- Must be reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused.
- Understanding of basic cleaning techniques and laundry processes.
