Summer 2025 Temp Hourly Cleaner

The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description Custodial Cleaner: Ability to navigate up and down stairs carrying 25 pounds or more; ability to work in high-paced organized groups to successfully prepare suites, offices or classrooms for occupancy. Conduct other tasks as assigned that may include stripping and waxing of floors. Shift / Hours: Monday thru Friday 7am-3:30pm OR Monday thru Friday 6pm-2:30am Custodial Cleaner - Pressure Washing / Window Washing: Ability to operate a lift, knowledge of pressure operation; work at heights using a 1,500 to 3,000 psi pressure washer; work outdoors using ladders; operate equipment with a standard shift transmission; cleaning windows outside of buildings up to four (4) stories high requiring heavy physical effort; use poles up to 50 feet long in upright position; valid NYS drivers license required.

The minimum qualifications required for this vacancy. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must be physically able to perform medium to heavy physical labor, and able to understand and carry out written or oral instructions. Candidates may be expected to be qualified to use negative pressure respirators.
