University Bank is seeking an experienced Mortgage Processor to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role requires recent hands-on experience in mortgage processing, with direct proficiency in Encompass, and strong skills in income calculations, credit reviews, and self-employed borrower analysis. • Process and manage mortgage loan files from submission to closing.
• Utilize Encompass to verify and input loan data accurately.
• Perform detailed income calculations, including complex self-employed borrower financial analysis.
• Conduct thorough credit reviews, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines.
• Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and closing teams to ensure a seamless loan process.
• Maintain adherence to company policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

• Recent mortgage processing experience (minimum 2 years required).
• Proficiency in Encompass mortgage software.
• Expertise in income analysis, credit review, and self-employed borrower underwriting.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage loan guidelines (Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, etc.).
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
