Position Summary:
Assists the CEO in the development and implementation of the mission, goals and objectives of the facility as established by the governing body. Assumes responsibility in a training role to manage the daily operations of the facility, ensure compliance with hospital, The Joint Commission, federal, state, local and other regulating agency standards.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide recommendations/guidance to management supporting administrative and facility decisions
- Set objectives, develops plans, staffs, directs activities of assigned departments/areas of responsibility
- Provide professional level planning, reporting, analysis and consultation to support the goals and objectives of the organization
- Helps manage the hospital operations, may assume administrative responsibility for the hospital in the absence of the hospital’s CEO
- Ensure consistency of treatment and application of policy
- Responsible for the functioning of various departments within the hospital
- Promotes Clinical Quality, Integrity, Safety, Service Excellence, Teamwork, Accountability and Continuous Improvement throughout all departments

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of four plus years of education and experience required.
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a health care management position with extensive experience in behavioral health care by providing executive leadership over day to day operations including direct accountability to develop and execute business strategies; provide leadership for quality of care, staff development, maintenance of license and accreditations, financial performance and process improvement strategies.
Additional Requirements: Detailed knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment issues.
