University Behavioral Health (UBH) of Denton is currently seeking an Inpatient Psychiatrist with optional outpatient volume available.
UBH Denton is a 104-bed freestanding psychiatric hospital offering mental health and chemical dependency treatment services. Child, Adolescent, and Adult Services are offered in diverse treatment settings - Inpatient, Day Hospital, and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
In addition, UBH Denton offers Freedom Care, a specialty inpatient program to meet the needs of active-duty service members, veterans, retirees, and their families.
DETAILS:
- Inpatient volume available in the inpatient women’s unit, military/first responders’ unit, & the high-acuity PICU unit.
- Optional Unit Directorships available.
- Responsible for performing initial psychiatric evaluations, assessments, treatment team leadership, & patient discharges in accordance with hospital policies & procedures
- Minimal call.
- Open to employed W-2 or Independent Contractor.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program required.
- BC/BE General Psychiatry (required).
- Current Texas physician/medical license or ability to obtain, in good standing.
- Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.
