Shift: Full Time, Nights, 7p-7:30a with rotating weekends
Position Summary:
The LVN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse and Chief Nursing Officer in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders, administering medications, and other duties in the LVN scope of practice.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Take and record vital signs properly.
- Observe and document changes in patients' appearance, behavior and ability to work toward treatment plan goals.
- Communicate changes in patient’s condition to the provider and unit nurse.
- Report signs and symptoms of infection in patients to the Charge provider and unit nurse.
