Job Type: Part Time / Seasonal
Hours: About 30 hours per week
Each day will vary and your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Scheduling all staff members to ensure a head life guard or manager is on duty at all times during operating hours
- Organizing pool deck events for holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day)
- Checking and confirming payroll hours
- Ensure all set up for clubhouse rentals and pool party rentals are in order
- Addressing situations with residents and guests when the lifeguard employees are not able to resolve the situation
- Ensure all employees under his/her supervision are properly trained for their duties
- Ensure all pool rules and regulations are being enforced by the staff and followed by residents and guests
- Ensure proper operating conditions of all equipment
- Handle first aid situations as needed
- Document & report any incident that may occur
- Maintain a clean facility- ensuring the pool is vacuumed every morning
- Monitoring pool chemical levels to ensure it can be opened for the day
- Checking chemical logs to make sure everything is being logged correctly
- Submitting chemical logs to the health department
- Adjusting pool levels when needed
- Inform supervisor when supplies are needed (chemical reading drops), or if equipment needs to be replaced/repaired
- Monitoring inventory of food , drinks, and supplies
- Placing the weekly Sysco food order
- Balance register drawer in kitchen
- Collecting, confirming, and depositing all snack stand sales
- Maintain a clean facility-ensure kitchen is clean, wiped down, food away, etc
