What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Technician (Part Time - evening) position at University Cleaners?
University Cleaners is seeking a qualified, safe, and motivated part-time delivery driver for our evening Lexington to Staunton route (or vice versa). Shift runs approximately 2-2.5 hours in the evening (starting after 4:45 pm) Mon. - Thurs. and then another 3 hours shift Sat or Sun afternoon Approximately 12 hrs. a week.
Position requires:
- reliability and dependability
- clean criminal background check & acceptable driving record required
- ability to drive a sprinter sized vehicle in all types of weather conditions
- collection, loading and unloading of clean and dirty laundry /dry cleaning into and off of sprinter van.
This role does require physical work such as climbing stairs and regularly lifting 35 plus pounds. Prior commercial driving experience preferred.
