What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Engagement Manager position at University Credit Union?
University Credit Union (UCU) is seeking a Community Engagement Manager (CEM) to run its Gorham, ME campus branch! We’re looking for a community builder with a passion for personal finance to support our members and community in alignment with our purpose of supporting financial well-being for individuals and communities.
In this role, the CEM will support community engagement and development efforts by building authentic relationships with key stakeholders in support of the credit union’s long-term success, promote its image and drive a positive, lasting community-centered impact. Additionally, based in the Gorham branch office, the CEM would be responsible for and assist members in opening accounts and coordination of other services available at the credit union. The CEM would also host and provide financial workshops at local community functions and events to promote financial literacy in line with the credit union's mission, participate in and attend community events such as networking, professional development and community driven initiatives, and identify local sponsorship opportunities that align with credit union strategy.
