Front of house Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for the culinary arts, and the ability to upsell menu items effectively. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests while ensuring food safety and adhering to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat customers promptly while providing menus and information about daily specials.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are noted.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, checking back with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Upsell additional menu items, such as appetizers, desserts, and drinks, to enhance the dining experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Adhere to all food safety guidelines and restaurant policies to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining basic math skills for processing payments.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on creating positive guest interactions.
• Basic math skills necessary for handling transactions and managing guest checks.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.
• A passion for culinary arts and helping others enjoy their dining experience is highly valued.
