Our medical receptionist will greet patients, activate patient files, and move patients through a pre-determined schedule of appointments providing an outstanding experience for our patients
Medical Receptionists Main Duties:
- Making and confirming appointments over the phone.
- Checking patients in as they arrive.
- Triaging patient concerns.
- Prepping Charts.
- Obtaining authorizations for exams from insurance companies.
- Scanning documents into the electronic health record system.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/ GED Required
- Associates or Certification in Medical Receptionist Preferred
- High School Diploma/ GED Required
- 2-3 Years of Customer Service Experience
- Excellent Phone Skills (Prior Receptionist or call center experience preferred).
- Prior Medical Experience Preferred
- Advanced Computer Skills Required
