Job Description
- Master of Science in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing Maintain current licensed as a registered professional nurse in Missouri
- Graduation and certification for Nurse Practitioner program; must maintain active certification
- Certification in specialty as approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing for Advanced Practice may be required.
- Holds current Collaborative Practice Arrangement with the organization as a provider
- Current BCLS verification
- Demonstrates clinical expertise in area of specialty practice
- Demonstrates leadership ability 3-5 years clinical experience
- Requires good people skills, ability to work with culturally varied patient and staff population
- Apply TMC mission and vision in the performance of his/her work.
- Maintain the knowledge necessary for working with severe and persistent mental illness including but not limited to good assessment and diagnostic skills, psychopharmacology, community health and psychiatry practices, therapy and other health treatment modalities for the type of practice the APRN is engaged in, whether primary care of psychiatric specialty.
- Ability to relate to very difficult patients who may at times be hostile, psychotic or intoxicated.
