Job Description
The registered nurse provides services in an acute care, ambulatory, behavioral health, or long-term care setting. Provides care patients with acute, chronic, and/or terminal illnesses. Performs an assessment based on the patient’s diagnosis, reason for entry into the system, and care needs. Utilizes the nursing process to plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate the delivery of nursing care. Other duties include interdisciplinary team involvement, committees, program evaluations, research, education, and the supervision of students. Performs duties within the scope of the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and established organizational and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current state of Missouri license as a Registered Nurse.
- Current BCLS.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or its equivalent in a specific specialty.
- RN Specialty Certification.
