What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Ambassador Supervisor position at University Health System- San Antonio?
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises and manages the work assignments of all Security Ambassadors/Sr. Security Ambassadors providing support to their assigned facilities/posts. Provides direct mentoring to all Security Ambassador personnel. Provides service, information and aid to the patients, guests, staff and physicians of the University Health System. Serves as a positive representative of University Health System and supports the Health System’s Commitment to Service Excellence standards. Responds to requests for assistance and provides patrol of property to ensure the safety and security of life and property of patients, visitors, staff and physicians on all property owned, leased, rented or otherwise under the jurisdiction and control of the Health System. Complies with and enforces the University Health System and departmental policies and regulations. Completes all Security Ambassador/Sr. Security Ambassador work schedules approves time off requests. Promotes the Health System's Guest Relations Policy.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE A high school diploma or its equivalent is required. Five years of experience in a related field such as security, detention, or loss prevention is preferred. Three years in a supervisory capacity is preferred.
