What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Cashier position at University Health?
Handles, counts and maintains records of cash. Accepts and records payment. Makes change. Prepares bank deposits and performs other related clerical office duties. Maintains good guest and working relations.
- EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High School graduate or its equivalent is required. At least one year of hospital cashiering or banking general office experience is preferred. Experience in a Financial Accounting setting may be substituted. Designated cash handlers must successfully complete the Patient Services Cashier course and be designated as a Patient Services Cashier during the initial probationary period.
