POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs routine tasks in the general care of patients and in the clinic. Assists the physical, occupational, and recreational therapists as well as speech-language pathologists in selected phases of patient treatment and in the general maintenance of the department, promoting optimum patient care.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
One-year work experience in a patient care setting is required. Experience as a physical, occupational therapy, or rehabilitation aide is preferred. Must have a current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support, and Health Care Provider card.
