Oncology office seeking a Medical Assistant for front desk position.
Responsibilities include: Answer phones, check in and check out, assist patients at front desk, chart prep, collect the payments from the patients, check insurance eligibility, set referral appts, , call back patients, call the prescriptions to the pharmacy, organizing the faxes from fax server, scanning, faxing, obtain prior Auth, filling.
Must be able to multi-task, detail oriented and skilled to work in this busy office.Must have experience with EMR(Experience in Eclinicalworks is a plus), knowledge with insurance verification, must have excellent phone skills, experience with prior authorization and computer skill.
