Description of the role:
University Home Care is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a KINNSER/OASIS- Coding of Medical Charts and QA for Home Health. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately coding medical charts and ensuring quality assurance for our home health patients. This position requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of coding practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately code medical charts using KINNSER/OASIS coding system
- Review and audit medical charts to ensure compliance with coding guidelines
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of coded charts
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to resolve coding discrepancies
- Conduct quality assurance checks on coded charts to ensure accuracy
- Participate in training and professional development activities to stay current with coding practices
Requirements:
- Proven experience in coding medical charts using KINNSER/OASIS coding system
