Description of the role:
The Male Caregiver role at University Home Care involves providing compassionate care and assistance to elderly male patients in Livonia, Michigan. As a Male Caregiver, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical and emotional well-being of our male patients, assisting with their daily activities, and ensuring their safety and comfort. Your role will require empathy, patience, and the ability to build a trusting relationship with the patients. This is a full time shift from Sunday to Saturday. its from 9:30am-11:30am and 5pm-9pm. Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Helping with meal preparation and feeding
- Medication reminder
- Assisting with mobility and transfers
- Providing companionship and engaging in meaningful activities with the patients
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in the patients' condition
- Maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for the patients
