University Home Care is currently seeking a Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Romulus, Michigan. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a variety of non-medical care services to our clients in their homes, assisting them with daily activities to ensure they can maintain their independence and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Support clients with mobility and transfers
- Help with meal planning and preparation
- Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and maintaining a clean environment
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by the healthcare team
Requirements:

- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move clients
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
