Personal Home Aide

Description of the role:

The Personal Home Aide is responsible for providing in-home support to individuals who require assistance with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and medication reminders. This role requires a compassionate and patient individual who can work closely with clients to help them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life. 

Responsibilities:

- Assisting clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

- Helping with meal planning and preparation, and assisting with feeding if necessary

- Medication reminders 

- Providing companionship and engaging in stimulating activities with clients

- Assisting with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry

Requirements:

- Experience in a similar role preferred, but not required

- Ability to effectively communicate and work well with a diverse range of individuals

- Compassionate, patient, and understanding nature

- Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills

- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism 

-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
