Responsibilities
Under direction, assists with the development, implementation, and monitoring of programs within the Human Experience Division, including Volunteer Services, Spiritual Care Services, Patient Experience, and Wellness initiatives. Reports to the Director Human Experience and provides administrative and program support to the Manager Volunteer Services while collaborating with Human Experience leadership and staff. Maintains files, distributes mail, and manages correspondence. Uses discretion and judgment when screening visitors and telephone calls. Organizes workload to meet established priorities. Performs data entry and manages information across various platforms, including volunteer and human experience databases.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Promotion, Public Health, Psychology, Nutrition, Exercise Science, or a related discipline, plus one (1) year of progressively more responsible administrative support, preferably in a health care environment required. Previous internship, volunteer work, or part-time experience in health promotion, wellness, or employee engagement preferred. Experience in event planning or program facilitation preferred. Computer proficiency and experience with office software required. Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills; program development skills, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize. Position may very seldomly require evening and weekend availability. Equivalent experience, education and/or training may be substituted for the education requirements.
