0 - 2yrs Experience: TT2800: Probationary Rate: $38.13 - Job Rate: $38.63 - Two (2) Year Rate: $39.79
2 - 5yrs Experience: TT2825: Probationary Rate: $40.70 - Job Rate: $41.21 - Two (2) Year Rate: $42.44
5yrs Experience: TT2850: Probationary Rate: $42.00 - Job Rate: $42.50 - Two (2) Year Rate: $43.77
The primary purpose of the Ultrasound Technologist is to provide health care services for patients of the University Hospital/ACC through the applications of non-ionizing radiation (in the form of ultrasound). The technologist performs ultrasound procedures for the interpretation of a licensed practitioner. The patient population ranges from newborn to maturity. Exercises professional judgment throughout the performance of his/her duties and maintains a demeanor that supports the values and mission of the department, ensuring that all interaction with patients, physicians, nurses, administrators, and other members of the hospital staff are professional and in accordance with the established guidelines of the institution.
Qualifications
Must be a graduate of an approved Ultrasound Program. ARDMS certification required, and current active registration required. Annual fit testing required. Must maintain valid certification by the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR.
Salary : $38 - $44
