What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Technologist, Hematology position at University Hospital?
The primary purpose of the Medical Technologist Hematology position is to independently perform routine and complex laboratory analyses; assume responsibility for procedural and system controls, problem solving, teaching and supervision under direction. Provides physicians with accurate and reliable analytical results necessary for the diagnosis/treatment of patients.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or a related field. ASCP certification or equivalent is preferred.
