Job Overview
This Level 1 Trauma center in the heart of Mississippi seeks Social Work Case Managers (LMSW or LCSW) to work 8-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in Acute Care Management as a SW Case Manager.
- Previous experience in large academic Medical Center hospital/Level 1 trauma center is required.
Schedule Information
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. No weekend requirements. Holiday rotations as needed.
Case Load and Job Duties
The case load includes approximately 15-20 patients per day with consults as needed. Common patient types include complex placements through UMMC contracts with 5 local facilities.
Additional Details
- BLS certification is required.
- A valid driver's license within a 50-mile radius is necessary.
- $70/hour for local candidates.
- Fingerprinting requirement can be completed remotely or in person in Jackson, MS prior to assignment.
- Flu vaccine is mandatory, with only medical exemptions accepted and requiring documented evidence from a healthcare provider.
