Key Responsibilities
- Perform all front desk duties specific to the department, including scheduling patients, collecting and verifying patient payor information, and other patient documentation.
- Manage patient flow and facilitate unit operations to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Comply with all policies and standards, adhering to confidentiality requirements and maintaining protected health information (PHI) for our patients.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and new technologies.
Requirements
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Program.
- 1 years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Able to communicate effectively with people from varied socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Ability to organize changing work assignments.
