Job Opening : Epileptologist , University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center
The Epilepsy Center of the Neurological Institute at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center is seeking a full-time Epileptologist to join our world-class clinical and academic team. As a Tier 4 Epilepsy Center (National Association of Epilepsy Centers), we are recognized for excellence in epilepsy care, particularly in epilepsy surgery , seizure semiology , and epilepsy informatics .
The Epilepsy Center is committed to advancing clinical, educational, and research initiatives, and we are looking for an individual who will contribute to the growth and development of these programs. This role includes participation in our nationally recognized Epilepsy Fellowship Program , with five ACGME-accredited fellowship positions each year, as well as involvement in our Neurology Residency Program (48 Neurology residents) and Postdoctoral Epilepsy Scholarship Program (5-10 international physicians). Additionally, the center hosts a biennial International Epilepsy Course as well as weekly Epilepsy Grand Rounds .
Key Responsibilities :
- Support the development and expansion of the clinical, educational, and research programs of the Epilepsy Center.
- Participate in the training and mentorship of neurology residents and epilepsy fellows .
- Participate as an instructor / speaker during the International Epilepsy Course .
- Collaborate with faculty from CWRU in research and academic initiatives .
- Engage in patient care, including epilepsy surgery and neurophysiology procedures.
