Job Description and Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient-centered care, focusing on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards related to nursing practice
- Prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain a safe and organized work environment
Education, Experience, and Certifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current licensure in the state of Ohio
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month of hire
- Preferred experience working in behavioral health and/or substance abuse rehabilitation environment
Travel and Working Conditions
This is a part-time position located at the Portage Juvenile Detention Center. Work days are every Wednesday and Friday from 3p-9p and every Saturday from 5a-12p or 1 pm. Hours may vary. Must be able to orient on day shift.
