A Brief OverviewSupports Radiologic Technologists in patient care and imaging process, completes clerical duties, lifts/transport patients, and follows hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Assists with patient assessments, preparation, and instruction.
- Coordinates patient care with healthcare team members.
- Registers and checks in patients.
- Ensures availability of procedural supplies.
- Follows MRI and radiation safety protocols.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
- Maintains confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI).
Qualifications:
Education:- High School Equivalent/GED (Required)
- Current Student of Radiologic Technology Program (Required)
- Less than 1 year Service-related experience (Preferred)
- Patient care skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and adaptability skills.
- Patient care equipment knowledge.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required Upon Hire)
- Standing Frequently
- Walking Frequently
- Lifting Frequently 50 lbs
- Travel: 10%
