A Brief Overview
Assists with : resident care, admission / discharge of patients and with the assembly and set up of equipment and supplies. Performs a variety of utility duties associated with patient care. Provides assistance to Patients with ADL's as delegated by the RN (bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting) Assists Patients in ambulating, turning, positioning as delegated by the RN. Assists with stocking and inventory of resident care supplies. Monitors patient safety alarms. Provides clean linens, changes bed and maintains an uncluttered environment for residents. Answers call lights. Obtains vital signs and completes POCT. Communicates any changes in patient condition to RN. Participates in quality and patient experience initiatives.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.

Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
