Job Overview
This part-time Advanced Practice Provider role is an excellent opportunity to join our team at University Hospitals. As a member of our Surgical, Medical, and Cardiac ICU Team, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Must be certified as an acute care nurse practitioner (ACNP).
- Requires APP experience.
- Will work 10 12 hr. Day/Night shifts over a 6 week schedule with rotating weekends and holidays.
- Partner with attending physician to provide 24/7/365 medical and surgical management for critical-care service.
- Manage comprehensive care of acutely and chronically critically ill or injured adult patients in collaboration with intensivist physician on duty (or on-call).
Education and Expertise:
- Nurse Practitioner: Nursing Doctorate or Master of Science in Nursing with emphasis on clinical practice.
- Physician Assistant: Completion of a formal Physician Assistant training from an accredited program with NCCPA certification.
- CNS with prescriptive authority.
