Job Summary
The Training Coordinator schedules trainings, facilitates and evaluates training programs to support the implementation of electronic health records.
Minimum Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Three years of experience in instruction/training, instructional design, training methodologies learning management systems and competency assessment of adult learners required; preferably in a healthcare setting.
License/Registration/Certification:
None.
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, Business Administration or related field required.

- Knowledge of adult instructional and learning theory and principles.
- Knowledge of instructional design.
- Knowledge of training methodologies.
- Knowledge of learning management systems.
- Knowledge of competency assessment.
- Knowledge of Health Information Management, Billing, Patient Access, Scheduling, Registration.
- Knowledge of Cerner, Soarian revenue cycle applications.
- Knowledge of EMR/EHR “Go Live”.
- Ability to apply Skilled in the use of Business Objects and Microsoft Office tools to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.
- Excellent analytical abilities necessary along with good problem solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of clinical operations either through formal education or business experience.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent planning, organizing, and project management skills.
- Ability to handle a changing and fast-paced work environment.
- Highly effective written and oral communication skills
- Self-starter with ability to work independently with minimum supervision and use good judgment, or as a contributing member of a team.
