The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine seeks to hire a Clinical Information Specialist I to work with clinical information systems to support healthcare operations. Functions include system implementation, user support, data integrity, system upgrade, and system maintenance.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Bachelors in Information Technology (preferred) along with previous IT experience.
Hourly Range : $18.85-$30.65
Education
Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and one (1) year of related experience required.
Work experience may substitute for education requirement.

- Supports department information systems requirements and objectives.
- Consults with system users and makes software and/or hardware recommendations.
- Installs and/or develops customized software as required.
- Provides training and documentation of software.
- Troubleshoots, maintains and repairs as necessary any department hardware and peripherals.
- May maintain department file server, i.e. back-ups, additions and deletion of users, etc.
