What are the responsibilities and job description for the DIRECTOR-FOOTBALL OPERATIONS position at University of Alabama at Birmingham?
Manages the football office and serves in an administrative capacity to conduct day-to-day operations of the football program. Serves as a liaison to athletic administrators and football sports administrator. Oversees and monitors expenses. Coordinates travel arrangements for team and coaches. Serves as liaison with Legion Field (Birmingham Parks and Recreation representative). Organizes fall camps for student athletes. Assists head coach as needed. Serves as liaison between the UAB football office and pro scouts. Supervises regular full-time staff, temporary and student workers. Adheres to all institution, conference and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules and regulations. Reports all known NCAA violations in accordance with institutional, conference and NCAA policies and guidelines.
Salary Range: $50,050 - $60,000
Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed with a Driver's License from the State of Alabama required.
