Job Description
The Department of Pediatrics, School of Medicine at The University of Alabama at Birmingham announces a full-time, regular, twelve-month faculty position with corresponding administrative responsibilities within the Division of Academic General Pediatrics. This position incorporates clinical, interdisciplinary teaching, and community activities. Research opportunities exist for qualified and interested candidates. Applicants must have MD, DO, or MD/PhD and be BC/BE in Pediatrics. The ideal candidate will have experience in academic medicine. Successful candidates will be involved in graduate medical education activities through clinical education.
The UAB Division of Academic General Pediatrics at Children’s of Alabama has excelled in each of its unique roles of teaching and clinical care responsibilities of the medical center. Faculty in General Pediatrics coordinate care provided by residents and students in a variety of clinics ranging from primary care to specialty services through UAB and Children’s of Alabama.
