CLINICAL DATA SPECIALIST I

Key Roles & Responsibilities
- To compile and analyze data.
- To develop and implement procedures, maintain records, track progress and conduct QA on data collected.
- To design and implement relational database management systems for retrieval and reporting of clinical information.
- To conduct quality assurance activities.
- Monitoring of subjects enrolled into MSG/other clinical trials in which UAB serves as central unit.
- Researches and collects information, enters data into established external data marts specific to clinical discipline and retrieves as necessary
- Performs a variety of statistical analyses and summarizes results.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Salary Range: $45,395-$65,000
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Public Health, or a related field and two (2) years of related experience required.
- OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE.
