Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm

Job Summary: The ACCESS Technology Program Manager provides technical support of courses. Evaluates and implements new technology for staff and ACCESS stakeholders including software applications, hardware, web-based materials, ACCESS Franchise model, and services.

Additional Department Summary: Coordinates tiered support for stakeholders in the ACCESS Virtual Learning program, serving approximately 30,000 students and 1,600 schools. Diagnoses, routes, and resolves technical and logistical support issues across three ACCESS Support Centers (Troy University, Madison City Schools, and The University of Alabama). Manages data collection, reporting, and analysis to enhance student success and improve program effectiveness. Researches and implements best practices in data management. Supports technology innovation by providing professional development, maintaining awareness of IT trends, and ensuring the quality and accessibility of course materials and platforms.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of instructional technology or curriculum development experience; OR master's degree and two (2) years of instructional technology or curriculum development experience.

Skills and Knowledge: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with CCS, UA institutional and academic units, and Alabama State Department of Education. Ability to plan, develop, and implement team projects. Experience adhering to grant requirements. Knowledge of distance learning technologies and teaching and training methodologies. Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms. Knowledge of learning PowerSchool, Schoology, and data management best practices. Familiarity with IT trends, accessibility standards (W3C), and security best practices. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Experience in coordinating cross-institutional teams and leading collaborative problem-solving efforts. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources efficiently.
