Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm

Job Summary: The Admissions Associate II provides clerical and administrative support for the admissions and scholarship processes under general supervision. Processes and reviews applications, transcripts, and test scores. Prepares admissions reports. Communicates with prospective students and guardians. Provides guidance and trains entry-level Admissions Associates.
Additional Department Summary: The Admissions Associate II serves as the main point of contact in the Graduate School in guiding applicants, faculty, and staff through the entire application lifecycle through admission decision for assigned areas. Communicates with applicants, faculty, and staff throughout the application process. Assists applicants with the submission of all required materials (transcripts, test scores, statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, etc.) in a timely and efficient manner. Identifies authenticity issues, omissions, and errors. Ensures that Graduate Council policies are being followed in determining admission eligibility. Liaises directly with academic departments to ensure the timely departmental review of applications, Determines residency for tuition purposes, admission eligibility, and transcript evaluation (when required). Enters final admission decision. Participates in recruitment activities virtually, on-campus, and off-campus. Participates in Graduate School events (commencement, orientation, workshops, conferences, etc.) as assigned by the supervisor or leadership. Cross-trains with other admissions team members to assist during peak times or in absence.
This position may be eligible for remote hybrid work.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of administrative experience; OR associate’s degree.
Skills and Knowledge: Effective communication skills to work with prospective students, applicants, current students, faculty, and staff. Flexibility in working with special situations.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree.
