Job Summary: The Manager of Athletic Facilities plans, organizes, coordinates, and inspects maintenance and custodial services for five highly utilized athletic buildings. Supports all academic, student, campus/community, and athletic events scheduled in these buildings through setup, take down, clean up, and custodial services for events and office spaces. Drives from site-to-site.

Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and ten (10) years of building maintenance experience; OR Associate's degree and eight (8) years of building maintenance experience; OR Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of building maintenance experience; OR Master's degree and two (2) years of building maintenance experience. Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Requires at least two years experience in building management and familiarity with building systems and maintenance requirements. Must have formally managed executive level programs and large personnel departments. Ability to schedule and manage a work group utilizing excellent interpersonal skills. Must have experience in procurement operations and budget compliance. Must be able to respond to a broad and exacting customer base. Must be able to work an irregular work schedule that may require 24 hour attention at times.

Requires knowledge of proper safety procedures and strong awareness and understanding of safety codes and compliance. Must be aware of safety codes and procedures in a general work environment.

Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.

Final candidates must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications: Degree in management, business, or athletic related field. Experience in a University athletic environment. Completion of a formal safety training course.
