Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

As the first point of contact, the student must exhibit a high degree of professionalism.

Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Must be comfortable speaking to a variety of audiences.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Competency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to prioritize and use good judgement.

Ability to multi-task.

Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Working knowledge of maintaining databases.

High degree of independence and problem-solving ability required.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Applicant should be enrolled as a UA student in a minimum of 6 credits with a minimum GPA of 2.0, or a newly enrolled student.

Position Details:

This position is located on the UA Fairbanks campus in Fairbanks, Alaska.  New hires will be placed on the Undergraduate Student Pay Scale based on education and experience.

 This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire academic year
