This position serves as Temporary, Student Services Office Assistant. Our team needs a detail oriented person with excellent customer service skills to roll out the red carpet for current and prospective students and our community. Efficiency, kindness, and caring is essential for this position which plays the vital role of keeping our Student Services Center operating, serving as a switchboard.

To thrive in this role you will have excellent time management and problem-solving abilities. Proven experience in maintaining confidentiality and adhering to FERPA guidelines. Demonstrate a strong aptitude for learning new processes, software applications, and technology. Capable of interpreting and explaining policies to various stakeholders, including students, staff, faculty, and administration. Known for delivering outstanding customer service, making sound judgments, and solving problems effectively. Strong multitasking skills, both independently and in a team setting. Possess a positive attitude, initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to foster cooperative relationships. Proficient in modern communication tools, computer systems, and data entry, with a keen ability to adapt to new technology and frequent system changes. Experience in working with the public and providing excellent customer service. Knowledgeable in common office applications and university systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

Some college experience, sufficient to meet the requirements of the position or equivalent training and experience.

Position Details:

This is a part-time, non-exempt tempoary staff position. New hires will be placed on the UA Temporary Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 77 (Kodiak/9% geo differential), based on education and experience.

This is a pooled recruitment which will remain open during the academic year.  Positions will be filled on an as needed basis.
