Admissions Processing Student Assistant

Are you interested in building your resume and playing a vital role in the Admissions process at UAF?

The Office of Admissions Admissions Processing team is hiring a Student Assistant. This position will assist the Admissions Manager and Coordinators in everyday operations that ensure a smooth UAF Admissions process.

Student Processing Assistants work with the Admissions processing team to import documents, update student applications, and work on semester-based projects to ensure timely and concise admissions to the university.

To thrive in this role, applicants need to have good communication skills, enjoy working alone and as part of a team, have good attention to detail, and have basic computer skills. This position also requires self motivation and independent working skills for project work and daily tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

This recruitment is open to current students of the University of Alaska. All applicants must have a 2.0 cumulative GPA and maintain enrollment in at least 6 undergraduate credit hours for student employment during the academic year.

Position Details:

This position is located on the UAF campus. Starting salary - $16.00/hr

This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire academic year.
