What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst position at University of Arizona?
The Data Analyst will report to and work directly with the Assistant Director, Communication and Data Management on generating and implementing large projects parallel with strategic planning aimed at successful implementation of Arizona Online enrollment populations.

- Creates, maintains and leads reporting and data driven support tasks and projects.
- Supports contact center platform (Genesys Cloud Dialer Technology) and data management applications.
- Inputs, extracts, and compiles information into and from Genesys Cloud Dialer system, Customer Relationship Management system, and Arizona Online student information system.
- Identifies and reconciles routine and complex data, corrects discrepancies, including the daily review of Genesys Cloud Dialer lists and Customer Relationship Management System audit queries.
- Produces routine and specialized reports. Disseminates reports according to established procedures.
- Uses business intelligence and data analytics techniques to respond to, coordinate, and execute information requests.
- Participates in analyzing user requests and designing, implementing, and maintaining applications systems in response to user needs.
- Responds to requests for support and training on relevant data management applications and to troubleshoot data challenges.
- Performs related duties as assigned or required to meet departmental needs.
- Additional duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Data Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Software Development, Data Management Support, or related field.
- One year relevant work experience required.
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Data Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Software Development, Data Management Support, or related field.
- Previous call center experience using a dialer in an in-bound and out-bound environment.
- Demonstrated experience working with complex data.
- Experience successfully building and maintaining customer relationships at multiple levels.
