Position Highlights
The University of Arizona School of Architecture invites applications for the following part-time/full-time Lecturer teaching positions for the 2024 academic year (Spring and Summer 2024) at 50% time or more. Lecturers will teach any of the following courses in the Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture, and/or Master of Science in Architecture programs. • Foundation Studios • Core Professional Design Studios • Research Option Studios • Advanced Technology (structures, construction, and environmental systems) • Design Communications • Architecture History and Theory • Professional Practice Courses. Identify which of these course areas you are interested and able to teach and how many up to 6 per academic year (3 per semester) in your cover letter.
This career-track appointment is not eligible for tenure.

Duties & Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
- Terminal degree in the discipline of instruction;

or Professional accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, current architectural registration, and minimum three years’ experience in active architectural practice(s);

or Bachelor’s Degree (non-professional) in Architecture or a related designed field and minimum twelve years’ experience in active architectural practice(s).

- Advanced degree in architecture
- Professional licensure in architecture
