Summary of Job Duties :
This position is responsible for delivery of the Resource Family / Adopt training curriculum, completion of the SAFE Home Study for prospective Resource / Adoptive families that complete this training. This position has regular contact with DCFS and other public agencies, and community professionals. The Trainer is directly responsible to the Resource Family Program Director. This position requires extensive in-state travel and work outside normal office hours. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency / institution policy.
Qualifications :
Required Education and / or Experience :
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or related master’s degree and experience with children and families to train and assess for the Resource program OR
- Bachelor's degree with related experience and licensure.
